All parents and guardians of University School students are members of the University School Parents' Association. Members are entitled to attend the General Membership meetings of the USPA and to participate in the activities of the USPA. No sign-up or dues are required.
The USPA provides a means for interested parents and/or guardians to work together with other parents, administration, faculty and students for the benefit of University School. The USPA strives to foster a sense of belonging to the school community by encouraging parent participation in activities and projects organized and lead by the USPA.
A listing of current USPA officers, committee chairs and class parents is accessible at www.us.edu/parents/uspa.cfm. Interested parents are encouraged to consider the opportunities available to them and contact the person or persons responsible for an event or activity.
The USPA conducts General Meetings several times throughout the school year. Attending members will be updated on the current events at the school as well as projects of the USPA. A speaker of interest is also included as a part of each meeting. The speaker will introduce the parents to special programs or opportunities within the school. Opportunity for open discussion is available at every meeting.
